Friday Outboard Focus - Honda BF150

On a wet and wild Perth Friday, we thought it would be a great time for you to get to know one of the best outboards released in the last 20 years, the Honda BF150.

This engine features a large 2.35L 4cyl dual overhead cam powerhead and multipoint fuel injection. Its smooth, quiet and pwerful, with great torque as well as the advertised 150hp.
The BF150 features Honda signature BLAST feature, hit the throttle hard to take off and the timing curve is advanced for an instant boost in power to get your boat up and moving. The oxygen sensor fitted to the cylinder head provides incredible fuel economy, especially when cruising at higher speeds.

The BF150 is also a light engine, just 117kg for the 20" leg and 220kg for the 25" leg, which means it can be retro fitted to many older boats that were rated for 150-200hp 2 stroke outboards.
The engine can run a range of gauges, from analogue to digital, or it can also run a full suite of gauges through a compatible NMEA2000 compliant sonar/GPS unit, such as a Lowrance 7-9" Eliteti or HDS unit, which is a great way of saving room on smaller dashboards.

We have sold other brand 4 stroke engines in the past and we can honestly say that the Honda beats that brand engines 150hp offering hands down for smoothness, fuel economy, noise levels and performance. No joke! You also dont have a problematic balance shaft assembly to cause you grief down the track like the other brand either.

Honda are currently offering a $900 discount off Seasport Marine's already low prices on the BF150 outboard.
You can get a BF150 20" leg 4 stroke outboard, expertly fitted to your boat with analogue gauges, premium cables, fuel filter and aluminium prop for an incredible $18,553 until the end of November, 2017 or whilst stock lasts.
Pricing for the 25" leg model, fitting, digital gauge options and stainless steel prop options are available 24/7 on our website, www.seasport.com.au
